FairLens is a browser extension designed to help users identify dark patterns, misleading interface elements, and privacy-related risks on websites they visit. FairLens operates with a single purpose: analyzing the current webpage to highlight manipulative UX patterns and improve user transparency.

Used to inject the code necessary to analyze and highlight elements on the current page.
Used only for local settings and cached rule data.
FairLens does not access other tabs, does not monitor browsing behavior, and does not collect background data.
If remote rule updates are used, FairLens may retrieve updated pattern-detection definitions from a trusted source.
